This groove is out of fashion, these beats are 20 years old. A great throwback to “Speaking in Tongues” and a great windows-down, radio-up summer-is-on-the-way jam. Unfortunately the only repeat-worthy listen on Byrne & Eno’s “Everything that Happens will Happen Today”, it’s had a long life as a reliable skip-stopper on my ipod rotation. Not a heavy influence, just an all-around great song for the season that has outlasted many other songs that came out around the same time. Enjoy!
